June 12, 1949 - December 27, 2020
It is with great sadness and pain that we announce the sudden passing of Don Hogan on 27 December, 2020 at the age of 71.
Don was born 12 June 1949 in St. John's, Newfoundland, and joined the Canadian military at the age of 19, serving for 32 years in the Armoured Corp, with his final posting with the BC Dragoons in Vernon, BC.
Don will be deeply missed by Gail, his wife for over 43 years, their two sons Brendan (Felicia) and Tyler, grandchildren Rosa, Christopher, Tatiana, Krista and Shaylee, and grandnephew Cayden. Also left to mourn are brothers Tiny, Gene and Ted and sisters Marian and Bev and a large number of nieces and nephews, all in Newfoundland, and brother-in-law Frank (Wilma) in Sooke, BC.
Don had a deep love for his family and would do anything for his two boys. We love you Don, we should have had more time. We will get you home to Newfoundland.
