It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Donald on December 23, 2021 in Kelowna, BC. He was born in Kelowna on June 6, 1940. Donald started working at Simpson Sawmill in Kelowna when he was 16. He then met his wife Griselda and they were married on December 19, 1964.They ended up having their daughter Sheila in 1965 and son in 1966. Donald and Griselda purchased their farm in 1977 and moved to Armstrong after building their house. He retired in 2000 after 44 years of working at the mill in Kelowna and commuting from Armstrong. Donald loved to fish, hunt, quad, work on the farm and spend time with his grandchildren. He had a special bond with his grandson Chase Bronson. Donald was predeceased by his parents, two brothers: Bill and Richard, as well as his son Wade in 2002. Donald is survived by his wife Griselda of 57 years, daughter Sheila Bronson, granddaughter Tasia Bronson and grandson Chase Bronson (Ty). He is also survived by his brother Ronald.
