It is with unspeakable sadness and heartbreak that on November 1st, 2016 Don lost his life to cancer.
Don is survived by Jody, his loving wife of 31 years; his sister Tori (Tony Kurz) of Vernon; mother Lynne Hyatt of Vernon; father Jack Simpson of Oyama; father-in-law Albert Annis of Houston; step father-in-law Ian MacLeod of Vernon; brother-in-law Kelly (Maureen Annis) of West Kelowna; brother-in-law Terry (Karen Annis) of Delta; niece Jennifer Hall-Simpson of Vernon; great nephew Bradley Hall of Vernon; nephew Ryan Hall of Edmonton; nephew Brandon Hall of Vernon; niece Jami (Kyle LaBrie) of Lethbridge; niece Carolyn Annis of Delta.
Don was a wonderful kind hearted man taken much too soon, he now embarks on his next journey. Don’s passing is deeply felt by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him. Don touched everyone he came into contact with.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Vernon Yacht Club February 11th, 2017 between 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
We love you and miss you so much Don.
You will forever be in our hearts and thoughts. You will never be just a memory.
