We regret to announce the sudden passing of Donald “Don” Hoy on Sunday, February 2nd, 2003 at the age of seventy years. Don was the former owner/operator of Paul’s Driving School for twenty years. After retirement, Don was involved with CGL Contracting. Don is survived by his loving wife Eileen of Vernon, one son and daughter-in-law, Casey (Cathy) Hoy of Vernon, one daughter Heather King of Penticton, BC, four grandchildren, Alisha and Travis Hoy of Vernon, Sherry King of Calgary, AB, Christopher Nutt of Edmonton, AB, Mother Doris Hoy of Brandon, MB. two sisters. Margery Thorimbert and Connie Hoy both of Brandon, MB and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his father Samuel in 1978 and one brother Robert in 1999. A private family service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 7th, 2003 at the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with Harold Young officiating.
