Donna passed away peacefully on January 21, 2018 at Polson Extended Care Facility.
She is survived by her loving family: husband Peter, son Mitch, daughter Cheryl (Murray Johnson), granddaughter Monica Collins (Caleb), great granddaughters Jovie and Maisie, granddaughter Holly Ramer, step-grandchildren Rosie Johnson and Eric Johnson, sisters Nonie Hesketh (Rod), Beverly Moore (Ken), Jean Mazzocca, and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Donna was born in Kamloops BC. Donna and Peter met in Vernon and were married for 60 years.
Donna was a talented artist, gardener, and naturalist. She loved to identify seasonal birds and butterflies. She planted a butterfly bush and many beautiful flowers to attract butterflies. Donna also spent many happy years on their rural BX property raising llamas.
We would like to thank the staff at Polson Extended Care Facility and Dr. Fred Dyck in Vernon for their wonderful care of Donna.
In keeping with Donna's wishes, there will be no funeral.
