Mom passed away peacefully in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital. In Vernon, British Columbia on March, 13, 2022 at the age of 90 years.
She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Agnes Eamer, her brother Delbert Vernon (Bud) Eamer, nephew Ronald Eamer. Her husband Gordon White and life partner Cliff Duncan.
Left to mourn are her daughters Terri-Lyn White, Kimberlee Evoy (Gerald) and Lori White. Her grand
Children Chad White (Bethany),Jolie White, Amber Starzynski (Darren Stadnisky), Bonny Mills (Ryan). Her great grandchildren Hunter-Jane, Sage, Ainsley, and Lyra Mills, Sarah and Jordyn Stadnisky, Nola and Teagan White, Bennett White.
Mom was born and raised in Brandon Manitoba. She grew up with a love of the outdoors and sports. As children our summers were spent camping at Riding Mountain National Park.
She was an avid curler before moving to Sioux Lookout Ontario in 1969 with her husband who was an engineer on the CNR. This is where mom developed her love of fishing and boating. She was the captain of her boat as Dad always got them lost!
Mom enjoyed sports all of her life and took up golf in her later years and golfed until she was in her late 80's. She and Cliff had the opportunity to travel with their RV across Canada and the United States for five years before settling down in Vernon, BC.
When Mom could no longer curl she was an avid fan who would call out each play and cheered the curlers on from her lazy boy chair. She spent her last hours listening to the curling on her TV!
Mom has requested no service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
