Doreen Yvonne Thauvette (nee Cox) was born to Eva and Hugh Cox on August 9, 1927, and passed away on June 12, 2018 at North Okanagan Hospice Society.
Doreen is survived by her loving husband Gerald Thauvette of over seventy-one years. She is also survived by her two daughters, Judy McKee of Kelowna, and Trudy Knapp (Jim) of Lumby, as well as her grandchildren Rob Taylor (Shellie) of Calgary, Katherine Wilson (Dan), and Regina and Amira Howes of Kelowna.
She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Alaura, Kayla, Abbey, Ryan, Finn, and Callum, as well as her great-great-grandchildren Izzie and Charlotte.
Doreen was predeceased by their daughter Darlene, son Bernie, and granddaughter Jamie Warrington-Knapp. She will be missed by her siblings Evelyn, Walter, Gladys Roland, Hazel Docksteade, Ken Cox, Bill Cox, Harold Cox, and Ronnie Cox.
At Doreen's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Okanagan Hospice Society would be appreciated.
