DOROTHY EUNICE Death occurred at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on November 12, 2002, of Mrs. Dorothy Eunice Ewanchuk, aged 79 years, a long time resident of Armstrong and area. Dorothy was born at Drumheller, Alberta, on Tuesday, July 10, 1923, and grew up in the Edson area. She was married to Rudolph Kendall in Alberta and he predeceased her in 1974 also a son Garry Kendall, and while in Armstrong her second husband Steve Guzy. She leaves her special friend Ed Vogel; and family, daughter and sons, Kathy Clark (Garney), Calgary, Randy kendall (Cheryl), Enderby, Barry Kendall (Jo-Anne), Falkland, Walter Guzy (Dianne), Vernon, B.C.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; extended family and friends. She was loved by all. Dorothy came to Armstrong in 1972 and was active in Church, Rebekah Lodge, played in the Rose Mountain Band, played and sang at Willowdale, and enjoyed flowers, reading, crafts, driving in the country. She had been a member of the Royal Purple while in Alberta. Funeral service will be held at the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, November 16, 2002, at 1:00 P.M. following the interment in Enderby Cemetery. Reverend Cory Rundell officiating.
