DOROTHY LYTLE (JOHNSON) was called home to be with her Lord on June 11, 2004, at the age of 90 years. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 26, 1913. Dorothy attended Prairie Bible Institute where she met and married her soulmate of 64 years, Blair Lytle. They spent their retirement years in the Okanagan Valley. Dorothy was predeceased by her son, David, in 1971; granddaughter Cindy Jensen in 2002; and her husband Blair in 2002. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Bob (Leota) of Salmon Arm; daughters Donna (Grant) Smith of Rochester, Alberta, and Ruth (Ken) Jantz of Coldstream; and grandchildren: Greg, Brian (Tracy), Rob and Jeffrey Lytle, Tammy Lytle, Teresa (Shawn) Thurber, Tracy (Rob) Nicholls, Blake (Connie) Smith, Debbie (David) Forsyth, Norman Jensen, Cheryl and Karyn Jantz; sister-in-law Jessie Lytle of Calgary; and numerous extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 18, at 2:30 pm, at the Alliance Church, 2601-43 Ave., with Pastor Henry Friesen officiating.
