Douglas Hague

Douglas Hague passed away peacefully at the Heritage Square Care Facility on Monday,

February 12th, 2007 at the age of 90 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife Grace of 36 years in August of 1976. Douglas is survived by two daughters and son-in-law; Jean (Les) O’Brien of Salmon, Arm, BC, Kathy Bond of Vernon, one son and daughter-in-law, Bill ( Venke) Hague of Vernon, ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild. Douglas had been a resident of Vernon since 1969 and was the former proprietor of Hague’s Village Green Gulf Service Station. He was a veteran of World War 11 and served with the R.C.A.F. and was stationed overseas in England. At Doug’s request there will be no formal funeral service. Cremation. The family wish to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Heritage Square for their wonderful care given to Douglas especially Charlene. Those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Doug may do so to the Vernon & District Hospice House 3506 27th, Ave., Vernon, BC V1T 1S4.
