July 15, 2018
On July 15, after a very short battle, Watso bid adios with his family by his side.

Born in NDG, Montreal in 1932, Reid embraced every minute of his 85 years and was a proud Canadian to the very end.

Reid had made many, many friends and business relationships in the explosives industry and with them he shared his "dynamite" wit and loyalty.

Our Dad instilled perseverance, honesty and the importance of family.

He was an avid fisherman, hunter, proud UNB alumni (Class of 55), loyal fan of the Habs and the Allouettes.

Dad was always planning the next adventure because he always felt one should always have something to look forward to.

Although he was taken from us far too quickly, Watso left us with incredible memories, experiences and a passion for excellence.

He was an avid fisherman, hunter, proud UNB alumni (Class of 55), loyal fan of the Habs and the Allouettes.

Reid leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Marion; son Keith (Lynne); son Brent; daughter Kathy Broderick (Craig); grandkids Collin (Ashley); Kyla; Connor; Hayden and Emily.

A private family celebration of life was held to honor him.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the dedicated and caring staff at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

Arrangements have been entrusted to PLEASANT VALLEY DIGNITY FUNERAL HOME, 4303 P.V. Road, Vernon, B.C. V1T 4M4  Phone: (250) 542-4333.
