Dr. David John Price

1928 – 2010

John was a man of vision and had diverse interests: veterinarian, author, sportsman, family man and friend. He authored “A History of The Okanagan Commonage: Where The Grass Is Always Browner On The Other Side Of The Fence”, was founder of the Okanagan Polo Club, and was a specialist in food animal research.

John passed away on Sunday, December 19th, 2010 in Vernon Jubilee Hospital and will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sherry Lee, of Vernon; three daughters: J. Orene Price (Gary Wilkinson) of Mississauga, ON, Laurel E. Price (John Nugent) of Whitby, ON, and Paula M. Price of Lumby, BC; one grandson, Aidan James Price Nugent; two sisters: Eileen E. Ashley of Kelowna, and Barbara A. Rennie of Surrey, two brothers-in-law, John Taylor of Coquitlam and Jack Anderson of Vernon; one sister-in-law, Barbara D. Wigle (Douglas Wigle) of Burlington, ON; and mother-in-law, Lillian Jean Jolliffe (Ray Jolliffe) of Burlington, ON. John also had a very special relationship with his many nephews and nieces.

Cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

John shared his life experiences with many people.

He will be remembered.
