It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, papa. Steve passed away in Victoria at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, after a short but arduous battle with Parkinson's.
Born in Rycroft, AB to John and Pauline Fedoruk, he spent his early years in Fairview., AB. He pursued a career in dentistry at the U of A, in Edmonton, AB. In 1958 upon graduating moved to Fort St John, BC and began his career as a dentist.
It was there he met and married his wife Lillian. Their two daughters, Lynn and Cathy were born in Fort St John. Steve served his community as an alderman for four years. He was also an active member of the Peace River Dental Society.
In 1975 the family moved to Vernon, BC where he continued to practise dentistry until his retirement in December 1996.
Steve lived a full and happy life with Lillian always at his side. He made time for his favourite pastimes, river boating, camping, skidoo's, golfing, bird hunting, and taking his daughters and their friends water skiing. He loved to play bridge and watch the Blue Jays and the Canucks.
Steve was predeceased by his parents, four brothers, and three sisters. He will be greatly missed by Lillian, Lynn(Dolores) Cathy(Kelly) and granddaughters Colleen and Taylor and his brother Bill (Olga) and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to their family and friends for all the love and support during this difficult time. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
