January 27, 1927 - October 16, 2018
Earl was born in Westmontrose ON and spent his early life in Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Maudi, three siblings, Arthur, Edward, sister Marie, stepson Allan and first wife. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife of 33 years, Ida, daughter Barb (John), son Rick (Sandra) in Ontario, stepsons Les (Susan), Marle (Bonnie), Dave and several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Earl lived a very colourful life, working at JM Schneiders in the early days and continued on in various endeavors throughout his life, like Auctioneering, Market Gardening, A petting zoo slash Carnival, Upholstering, Woodworking and the list goes on and on. And this was all before he married our Mother.

In 1984 he loaded up his Ford Ranger (and I mean "loaded") and headed to Abbotsford BC to see his pen pal, (who he would later marry), bringing along his talents, tools, 2 rabbits and 2 morning doves. He continued his crafts and always loved gardening. Together they moved several times. Enderby was the last place that he had a greenhouse and spent time at the Farmer's Markets selling his wares. His last 5 years were spent at Heaton Place in Armstrong. After breaking his hip, he eventually ended up in The Hamlets in Vernon. His health deteriorated rather quickly, and he passed away peacefully in VGH with his wife and friends by his side.

A memorial took place on Sat Oct 20th at the Grindrod Gospel Church with Pastor Terry Baskin officiating. Interment was in Enderby Cemetery.
