MR. EARL RUSSELL WARD passed away in the Polson Extended Care Unit on Friday, July 29th, 2005 at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon of Calgary, Alberta, his grandchildren, two sisters; Edna Pinceman and Eleanor (Ev) Near, of Kindersley, Saskatchewan, numerous nieces and nephews and some very wonderful friends here in Vernon. He was predeceased by his wife Pat, two brothers, five sisters and one of his favourite nephews, Ron Ward. Earl came to B.C. from Flaxcombe, Saskatchewan in the early 1960’s and was best known as the Fuller Brush man. He was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #25. The Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Allan Dawe officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
