It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Edith Veronica Nasmith on March 24th, 2021 at the North Okanagan Hospice Society in Vernon, BC with her good friend Liz by her side.
Vicky enjoyed her retirement through numerous activities, including reading, knitting, crossword puzzles, travelling by cruise ships and her computer games.
She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Lisa, grandchildren Jason, Stephanie, Jessica, Jackie, Cristian & Stacey, great-grandchildren Olivia, Christian, Luca, Ava & Hudson, nieces Elena, Anita, Gina & Dawn.
She is predeceased by her mother Signa Hughes, husband Ronald Foote, husband David Nasmith, son David Foote and son Geoffrey Foote.
Thank you to all the staff at Vernon Hospice for the care, love and consideration they showed Veronica in her time with them. Thanks to Dr. Boucher for looking after and caring for her as well. Donations may be made in her memory to The North Okanagan Hospice Society (3506 27th Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4).
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a service arranged at a later date.
