Edna Armstrong passed away on April 19, 2018 in Vernon, BC. at the age of 89. Born in the district of Krupp, Saskatchewan, she spent most of her adult life in Calgary where she raised 7 children. Edna and her husband, Ralph, retired to the Okanagan where they enjoyed many happy years. Ralph predeceased Edna in 2009.
Edna spent the last 8 years of her life living at Canterbury Court where she participated in the social life of the residence and will be remembered for her fun-loving nature and dazzling smile.
She will be missed by her children: Larry (Judy), Butch (Norma), Wayne (Linda), Bonnie (Jim), Carol (Rob), Rob (Susan), Terry-Lynn (Pat), and by her 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The Armstrong family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Kimberlee's Support Services for their care of Edna during the last several weeks of her life, and to the caregivers and volunteers at the Hospice House in Vernon for their care of our mother during her last days.
