Edward Abraham Schroeder was born on September 17, 1943 in Tisdale, Saskatchewan and unexpectedly passed into his spiritual life on October 3, 2016 in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

He is lovingly remem-bered by his wife Gwen of 52 years, his only child and daughter Toni Marie Rennie / Schroeder, grandchildren Nikita Rennie and Dylan Rennie, sister Irene Nasman of Kamloops, brother Larry Schroeder and wife Marilyn of Abbotsford, nieces and nephews Ernie and Lisa Holzman and Erin and Michael Schroeder. Also survived by the

large cherished extended family members and friends. Oh, and last but not least, Suzie (dog) and Elli (cat).

Over the years he enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, rebuilding engines, doing body work and painting cars, as well as renovating houses. He considered himself, “A jack of all trades, master of none.” Having said that, he never gave himself enough credit for the skills he had and the things he accomplished.

He will be remembered as a man with a unique way of shocking people with his warped sense of humour. It brought him happiness to make others chuckle.

Loved forever, missed until we are together again.

Ed requested not to have a funeral but a gathering at a later date.
