Edward Clarke LEEPER

We sadly announce the passing of Edward Clarke Leeper on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, in Vernon, BC. He passed away peacefully at Hospice House with his children at his side. Edward was born in Vernon, B.C. on April 9, 1932. He was predeceased by his parents Clyde and Mary, and his brother Barry. He is survived by his six children, Patricia (Keith) Parks, William, Heather (Neil) Edmonds, Johanne, Michelle (Gordon) and Cory; four grandchildren Chelsea (Rob) and Rhiannon Parks, Erynne (Sean) and Brianne (Andrew) Edmonds, and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by numerous extended family members. His wit and humour will be greatly missed. In his younger years, he was a member of the BC Dragoons. Ed, his father and brother operated the Shell Oil and Pacific 66 Bulk Plants in Vernon for many years. He was later camp manager in logging and mining camps. The family would like to thank Dr. Gilhooly, all the nurses from Home support and 3 West at Vernon Jubilee Hospital and the staff at Hospice House for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Vernon Hospice House, 3506-27 Ave, Vernon, BC. V1T 4W9. Arrangements in care of Vernon Funeral Home. A family service will be held at a later date.
