Edward William Strome passed away peacefully on April 5, 2018 at the age of 91 in Vernon, BC.
Ed was born on January 31, 1927 to Joseph and Rosa (Menz) Strome on their homestead near Muenster, SK.
He is survived by his loving wife Agnes (Schuetz) and their five children, Mervin (Diane) of Calgary, AB; Anita Gamble (Jim) of Kelowna, BC; Perry (Kathie) of Red Deer, AB; Robert of Red Deer, AB; Michael (Heidi) of Calgary, AB; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sister Marcella Berchiminsky of Watson, SK; sister-in-law Yvonne Strome of Humboldt, SK; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Rosa Strome; brothers, Arnold Strome and Bernard Strome; brother-in-law Nick Berchiminsky; sister-in-law Rita Strome; nephews, Vernon Berchiminsky and Rodney Strome.
