Eileen Angelina


Eileen Angelina DeCoffe (Schwartz) made her Heavenly journey on May 26, 2013 in Vernon BC, with her devoted Husband and Family at her side. Eileen was born in Vernon BC on June 5, 1936. She married Ambrose DeCoffe in 1962 and their love for each other, brought them 50 years of Happiness and Blessed them with 4 Children, 13 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her Husband Ambrose, Daughters Edythe (Mike) Soldan and family, Colene (Gord) Gudeit and family, Son Jim (Vicki) DeCoffe and family and Son Mike DeCoffe. Eileen will also be deeply missed by her brother Gary (Janice) Schwartz and their family and her sister Jeannie (Mel) Hamm. Eileen was a Warm-hearted woman who Loved her family Dearly and was Happiest when participating in activities that included them. She loved her family gatherings at their cabin on the lake, camping, traveling across Canada to visit with relatives, and cruising to Alaska and Hawaii. Eileen was an Amazing woman who had a full time job, but always prepared the best meals and kept a Beautiful home. Eileen had many family and friends and they were all Blessed with her Beautiful radiant smile, Sparkling blue eyes, Gentle hands and a Warm heart. Eileen was Thankful for her blessings, and she followed her Faith and treated others with the same Unconditional Love. Eileen touched many lives with her Compassion, Sense of humour and Deep devotion to God and family. All who knew Eileen, were truly Blessed. Eileen’s family extends their Heart-felt Gratitude to Dr. Barss, and the Vernon Jubilee Staff on Two west, for Always treating Eileen and her family with Dignity, Kindness and Compassion. It will never be forgotten…

There will be a Funeral Mass for Eileen held Saturday, June 1st 2013 at 11:30 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lumby, BC at 202 Park Ave. Reception to follow in the Sacred Heart Parish Hall.
