On the morning of June 1st, 2018 our mother left us peacefully to share eternal life and happiness with her beloved husband, Jim. This beautiful couple now walk hand in hand once again in the loving care of our good Lord.
Born in Halifax, NS on July 16th, 1931, Eileen (Ball), in her twenties, made her way west to BC with girlfriends. She spoke happily of this adventure many times. In Vancouver she met the love of her life, Jim, and together they shared 49 amazing years until Jim's passing in November 2011. Their love story took them to London, England, Baden, Germany and then to Vernon, BC where they made their home for over 40 years.
Eileen was a loving mother, wife, grandma, sister and friend. She was wise and kind hearted with a beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humour. Losing our mom not only breaks the hearts of all who loved her, it throws our minds and hearts in to rewind remembering and cherishing the impact one special woman made on us.
Predeceased by her husband, Jim, and sister, Dorothy, Eileen leaves behind her son, Dave (Lisa) Stephenson; their children: Ashley and Nick; son Tim (Shellee) Stephenson and Tim's son, Yanos; and sister, Margaret Mussett.
Your lungs are full and strong once again Mom. Give Dad a huge hug from all of us and keep sending us your strength. We love you and painfully miss you.
