With heavy hearts we announce Lanny’s peaceful passing, after a long and heroic battle with breast cancer, on November 18, 2009 in Red Deer, Alberta. She fought her battle with tremendous courage, strength and dignity and has been an inspiration to all around her.
She will be remembered as someone who always put others ahead of herself. Lanny will be lovingly remembered by Murray, her devoted husband of thirty-eight years, as well as her two daughters: Sherrell Perrett (Craig) and Jaime O’Reilly (Sean). She will be missed by her four grandchildren: Madyson, Ryann, Evan and Reid, as well as her father Archie Delange; sister Candy Siegmueller (Mark); brother Roland Delange (Susan); and her two very close cousins: Shirley McConnachie (Archie) and Bev Todoruk (Julian). She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a large extended family. She will be deeply missed by all her friends, including the Gleniffer Lake community, where she was part of many committees and social groups.
