Eleanora Myrtle Otteson

Eleanora Otteson was born on April 4, 1944. She married Ronald Otteson on December 1, 1962.
Eleanora & Ron had 4 children and they were both predeceased by daughter Roxie. Eleanora's family was extremely important to her and she was active in their lives. She is survived by children Sharon (Morgan), Whileen (Stan), and Jay; grandchildren Logan (Leah), Ryan (Sandra), Durell (Danielle), Meghan (Matt), Dylan, and Alyssa; great-grandchildren Tiana, Ariel, Aurora, Aria, Leo, Clara, and Luken.
Eleanora volunteered over the years and was responsible for the very first hot lunch program at Cherryville Elementary School. She was an active volunteer before COVID at Cherryville Senior's Dinners and Cherryville Food Bank. The Cherryville Gospel Church was a very important part of Eleanora's life. Ron & Eleanora donated property for the church building.
Eleanora loved music. She could play guitar and piano by ear. She spent many hours embroidering and quilting. A master of both.
Eleanora will be missed by her family and community. A combination funeral for Eleanora & Ron will be held at Cherryville Community Hall on April 29 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
