Dorothy Towler passed away at Hospice House on Saturday, February 14th, 2009 at the age off 89. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Donna Antonishak (Joe) of Vernon and Lynne Towler of Langley, B.C. She is also survived by her grandsons, Daryll and Brian Antonishak, her many nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 2005.
Dorothy was born in Vancouver on December 20th, 1919. She grew up there and married Thomas Towler in June 1947. They lived in Burnaby for nearly 50 years. Here Dorothy was a Girl Guide leader, member of St. John the Divine Anglican Church and part of the Alive Club.
In May 2006, Dorothy moved into Canterbury Court in Vernon. She made many friends there and enjoyed being part of the Vernon community.

A Memorial Tea will be held at Canterbury Court, 3011 Gateby Place, 2nd floor meeting room at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21st, 2009.
