Elizabeth (known as Betty by her family and close friends) died peacefully on the morning of October 2nd, 2018.
Betty was born on March 3rd, 1927 to Bob and Susan Salt of Enderby. Betty is survived by her twin sister Jean, her younger sister Iris as well as numerous other family members. She was predeceased by her brothers Arthur and George and sisters Marjorie and Eleanor.
Betty worked in various positions prior to retiring. She was an avid gardener and could be found tending to her vegetables and flowers throughout the growing season. Betty's first love,however, was travel. Throughout her life Betty travelled to six out of seven continents. Her favourite, she admitted, was South America. Betty was able to continue to travel into her 86th year. Betty will be remembered as being meticulous, creative and strong willed with a passion for life.
At Betty's request no service will be held. A private family interment to take place at a later date.
