October 5, 1934 - September 28, 2018
Mom was born in Greenwood BC and passed away peacefully at Noric House in Vernon, BC. She will be lovingly remembered by her six children Dianne (Mike) Rosman, Layton (Sheanne) Ralston, Jack (Jacqueline) Ralston, Rod (Caroline) Ralston, Tim (Brenda) Ralston and Krista (David) Stinn.

Her Grandchildren Jacquelyn Rosman (Bryce Lee) and Daine Rosman, Levi and Lacey Ralston, Layton, Shelby, Jade and Paige Ralston, Jessica (Kirby) Papineau, Justin and Sheldon Ralston, Raylene, Jordan and Colton Ralston, Kyle and Wade Stinn. Her Great Grand Children Cole Rosman and Emma Lee. Elsa also leaves behind her two sisters, lnge Klym and Rita Frake, four brothers John, Leonard, Gus and Sven Bourgh.

Mom met Milton Ralston and together they were married in 1955 at Kettle Valley, BC. Mom worked at the Dellview hospital in Vernon until her family started to grow. She then became a stay at home mom, her dream come true. Mom and Dad raised their six children in the Coldstream. Once we were all attending school she helped as a learning assistant at the Coldstream Elementary School. She had a gift when teaching math. Mom also helped the Cub Leaders. In the winter she would go up to the Chalet at the Coldstream Ranch two hours before the Cubs arrived and light a fire in the big rock fireplace.

Mom had a passion for her flower gardens. She could take a piece of the good earth and turn it in to something beautiful. Her grandchildren remember her delicious homemade muffins. No recipe, everything in the cupboard goes in the mix. We were always kept busy with after school activities and chores. Thank you mom for teaching us how to work. Life is not always easy. Mom taught us how to deal with difficult situations with resilience and humor. After 37 years of marriage and Dad's passing, Mom ventured out into the workforce again. She loved her job at The Bay and made many new friends there.

Elsa is predeceased by her husband (Milton) a heartache from which she never recovered. After 25 years apart, they are together at last-Forever. She is also predeceased by her parents (Carl and Margareta Bourgh), her brother Eric, her sister Anna Maj Young and great grandchildren twin baby boys Quintin Leon and Sebastien Earl Papineau.

Mom's greatest accomplishment and pride and joy is her family. Good Bye Mom and say hi to Dad for us.

There will be no formal service, just a gathering of family and friends on Saturday Oct 6th, from ll - 2 pm at the home of Mike and Dianne Rosman.
