July 14th, 1926 – February 26th, 2008
Elsa Keber passed away peacefully in the Polson Multi-Level Unit of Vernon Jubilee Hospital at the age of 81 years.
She leaves to mourn her caring, loving and devoted husband, Arthur, to whom she was married for 51 years; her sister, Agnes Redlick; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard and Erven Freund.
Elsa was born in Bavaria and was two years of age when her parents and brother Richard immigrated to Canada settling in the town of Hanna, Alberta. A few years later the family moved to Vernon where Elsa grew up and received her education. Here she worked as a dental assistant for many years and later as a bookkeeper in a family owned business. Elsa will be dearly missed by those close to her.
A Graveside Service took place at the Coldstream Cemetery on Friday, February 29th, 2008. A Service Of Remembrance will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 6th, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. with Pastor Ken Keber officiating. A Reception will follow in the Tea Room at Bethel Funeral Chapel.
