It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother, and friend on the evening of September 2, 2020.
Elsie was a diligent and hardworking wife and mother. She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed singing. Her unwavering faith and strong spiritual values guided her through life as she offered up prayers for her family and words of encouragement for many friends and acquaintances. She faced the end of her life with courage and confidence in God.
Elsie is predeceased by her two eldest daughters, Carol Louise and Lorali Jane. She is survived by her daughters Cindy (Thomas) Ferguson and Shelley (Lyle) Sanjenko, her remaining siblings, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Elsie spent the last three months of her life in the North Okanagan Hospice House. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Elsie to: NOHS, 3506 27 Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4.
A small private family service will be held.
