Emilie Elisabeth Appenzeller was born on November 11th, 1926 in Zurich, Switzerland and passed away on September 12th, 2016 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 89 years. Emilie will be lovingly remembered by her children; Gottlieb (Eva) Appenzeller, Elisabeth Appenzeller and Regula Phillips, her grandchildren; Maya, Rebecca, Mel, Jessica, Judith and Regula along with their spouses and their children, her very special friend; Tamara as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Emilie was preceded in death by her husband; Gottlieb, her son; Jack, her grandson; Silvio, her parents; Hans and Elisabeth, her companion of 25 years; William Abt and by her son-in-law; John.
Cremation preceded a Celebration of Emilie’s Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, September 24th, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.
A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room.
