Ena Corinne passed away peacefully with her son Jim and his wife Sue, and her daughter Linda by her side, on Monday, June 23, 2008 in Vernon, BC at the age of 79 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ambrose in 1995 and son Martin in 1984.
Ena Corinne was born in Calgary on November 19, 1928 and spent her youth in Longview, Alberta. She and Ambrose married in 1950 and raised their family in Black Diamond, and later in the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. She called Lethbridge home for several years, and for the last ten years of her life, Vernon, BC was home. She loved life, was a wonderful mom and grandma and had a wonderful sense of humor.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with a luncheon to follow.
Ena Corinne’s children, Linda (Jack), Terry (Adele), Jim (Sue) and Raymond (Lynda), and her thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren will miss her immensely, but we all know “The Best Is Yet To Come”. Special thanks to her large spiritual family for their loving support and prayers. Her family would also like to thank all of the staff at Noric House, for loving and taking such good care of Ena Corinne for the last seventeen months.
