Eslie Charles (Les) Kleinsteuberwas born on December 15th, 1942 in Nut Mountain, Sask. and passed away on September 13th, 2010 at Hospice House in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 67 years.
Les will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Doreen of Vernon, B.C.; four step-children, Shannon (Marty) Beddow of Fort St. James, B.C., Bonnie Trudgeon of Regina, Sask., Gordon (Shelley) Trudgeon of Fort St. John, B.C. and Keith (Lisa) Trudgeon of Prince George, B.C.; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; his mother, Sophia Kleinsteuber of Vernon, B.C.; one sister, Betty (Tom) Williams of Vernon, B.C.; three brothers, Stuart (Aline) Kleinsteuber of Sicamous, B.C., Keith (Joanne Boisvert) Kleinsteuber of Vancouver, B.C. and Terry Kleinsteuber of Prince George, B.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Kleinsteuber.
Les was a great lover of the outdoors and greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved children and always looked forward to spending time with his family. Les worked for B.C. Hydro for 40 years and from 1971 until his retirement in 2002 his working career was spent in Prince George, B.C.
In respecting Les’ wishes, he was cremated and there will be no funeral service held. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Les to the North Okanagan Hospice Society, 3506-27th Avenue, Vernon, B.C. V1T 1S4.
