On November 2, 2018 Ruth passed away at Vernon Hospice House with her family surrounding her. She was pre-deceased by her husband Marvin Martensen. She is survived by her children - Fern Rosengren of Surrey, BC, Fay Cash of North Vancouver BC (who sadly passed away 5 hours after mom) Alethea (Dave) Newton of Vernon, Dave of Vernon, Debbie (Randy) Romanchuk of Vernon. Grandchildren - Tammy, Tracy, Charmaine, Jayson, Crystal, Lisa, Ashley, Julie and Steven.
Mom was born in Vernon. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking, baking and canning for them to enjoy. Celebration of Life will be held for them on April 20th 2019 from 1pm to 4pm @ the Army & Navy Airforce Hall 2500 - 46th Avenue Vernon, B.C.
