Ethel Virginia Annamay Campbell

Ethel Virginia Annamay Campbell was born on July 1st, 1935 in Kipling, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 24th, 2016 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 81 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her childhood sweetheart of 61 years; Bob Campbell, her children; Cindy (Luke) Gosselin, Cori (Ray) Kingdon and Sheldon (Christina) Campbell all of Vernon, B.C., 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren all of Vernon, B.C., her brother Trevor (Berneice) Uhrich of Golden, B.C., her brother-in-law; Henry Ricard of Golden, B.C. along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents; Dan & Kate Uhrich, her sister; Penny Ricard and by her nephew; Shane Ricard.

In her younger years, Ethel enjoyed playing badminton, softball and curling. She loved her hobbies which included; flowers, crafting, knitting and playing the organ, but most of all she loved her family and her home. During Ethel’s illness, her families well being was foremost for her. She never complained, was brave and was a real trooper until the end. She will be missed very much and will remain forever in our hearts.

In respecting Ethel’s wishes, she was cremated and no funeral service will be held.
