We are deeply sad-dened to announce the peaceful passing of a beautiful and gentle soul, Eva Fedyniak, on December 1st, 2015 at the age of 92 years at Vernon Jubilee Hospital, with loving family at her side. She was predeceased by her husband Mike, son Ernest, grandson Dennis, and nine brothers and sisters.

She was born in Leeshore Alberta to Dymtro and Mary Kotylak in 1923. After several army moves, Eva and her husband Mike settled in Vernon to raise their 5 children on their farm. Eva was known and loved for her hospitality, generosity, kind spirit, forgiving nature, sense of humor and unconditional love — all qualities we aspire to have. Eva was a dedicated member of St. James Catholic Parish Family and the Catholic Women’s League. Many will miss her famous perogies, cabbage rolls, borscht, large Ukrainian meals and playing countless games of skip-bo.
Eva (Mom, Grandma, Baba), you are forever with us in our hearts.
Thank you for all you have taught us.
We love you and don’t you forget it!
