Mom spent many happy years in the Celista area of the Shuswap where she found time to follow her passion for art and produced many beautiful paintings. The coffee pot was always on for the numerous folks that dropped in to see her and her second husband Bill Kirk. No one ever left without a full tummy, as mom could never bear the thought of anyone going hungry. After Bill’s passing in 1986, mom moved to Vernon to be closer to her children where she spent her remaining years.
No mother ever loved her family more than she. No mother was ever more devoted, compassionate or
giving. She taught us well.
