It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fay Eileen Mitchell at the young age of 66 years after a brief battle with a brain tumour. She was taken too soon and will be dearly missed by her son, Stephen, and countless friends and family.
She was a hardworking woman who was beautiful both on the inside and on the outside. She passed peacefully June 28, 2018 at the Vernon Hospice house, which is a most incredible place with the most incredible, loving and caring staff - top to bottom.
One of her favourite pastimes was watching the Toronto Blue Jays while playing crib with her son. She will be forever remembered for her loving smiles and happy nature.
