Mom passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 9, 2018 at the age of 94 years.
She was born in Coderre, SK into a large and loving family. She married the love of her life, Charles Tremblay, in 1947 in Vernon, BC and moved back to the family homestead in SK and then returned to Vernon in 1970.
She enjoyed living a full and active life with various hobbies such as golfing, sewing, crafts and bowling.
Florence is survived by her 4 children: Irene Coates, Angela Tremblay, Gilbert (Chris) Tremblay and Barry (Michelle) Tremblay, 6 grandchildren: Mark Coates, Blair (Gwen) Coates, Sheri (Dwayne) Schweb, Alisa (Rob) Fuchs, Bryce (Marcy) Tremblay, Mathew (Chrystal) Tremblay, 14 great-grandchildren: Jennifer, Christopher, Crystal, Samantha, Carson, Trevor, Cole, Melissa, Tasha, Dana, Nicole, Greysen, Ashtyn and Nixin.
She is predeceased by her husband, Charlie, 5 brothers: Ernie, Armand, Lionel, Henry and Alphie, 1 sister: Beatrice and son-in-law: Bob Coates.
Florence will be forever loved and missed by all of her family and friends. There will be a Memorial Mass held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 19th, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church (2607 27th Street, Vernon, BC).
