Florence Lehr of Vernon B.C. passed away at the age of 82 years. Florence (Flo) will be forever remembered by her husband Lloyd, her children Carol, Dave (Georgina), Sandy (Len), her grandchildren – Lee (Tammy), Michael, Troy (Tracey), Tavis, Zachary and Carter, her great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Brianna, Brennen, Brody, Sierra, Sawyer and Taylor. She is survived by her sister Ruby Zutz, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Florence was born in Vegreville Ab and predeceased by her father Gilbert Carter, mother Audrey (Pete) Berry and stepfather Kenneth Berry. She and Lloyd were married on February 21, 1948 and shortly thereafter moved to the Yukon Territory and later to Alaska where they established a successful restaurant/garage business on the Alaska Highway until they moved to St. Albert in 1962. Florence and Lloyd moved to Vernon B.C. in 1986 where they enjoyed a variety of activities with family and friends. Her family will always appreciate her legacy of grace, generosity, kindness and appreciation of others. She loved to dance, bowl, crafts and family gatherings. What a beautiful difference a single life made.
At her request there will be no service or memorial.
