Frances Lovis (Fran) Johnson, aged 74, passed away peacefully in the North Okanagan Hospice on September 20th, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer, her brother John at her side.

She is survived by her three children, Kelly (Jamie), Sheryl and Michael. “Granni Franni” is also survived by eight grandchildren whom she adored. Fran was a teacher for 35 years until she retired in 2004, and then was bitten by the travel bug. She had many trips to exotic places with her wonderful friends. Fran had a radiant smile and an incredible sense of humour that will be remembered by all who knew her.

In respecting Fran’s wishes, she was cremated and there will be no funeral service held.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and volunteers at the North Okanagan Hospice Society who treated Fran with such loving care while she stayed there.
