GULASH, Frank Joseph

1927 – 2012

The family of Frank Gulash regretfully announces the passing of their beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012 in Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

Frank is survived by: four sons, David (Noella) of Raymond, AB, Ron (Loralyn) of Coldstream, Vance (Korina) of Vernon, and Alan (Carol) of Spruce Grove, AB; two daughters, Ethel (Jim) Greeno of Revelstoke, and Judy (Dave) Carmichael of Kamloops; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother; numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his wife, May, in 2001 and his daughter, Sharon.

Frank served as past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3557 and was a veteran of WW2, serving with the Royal Canadian Navy.

A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Dale Normandeau officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. A reception will be held in the Pleasant Valley Tea Room.

In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Frank may do so to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, #4, 1551 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 9M9.
