FRANK PIPER

On December 24th, 2004 Frank passed from this life into eternity with his Messiah Jesus. We grieve, but not at those that have no hope. At the age of 82 years, he will be remembered with love by his companion Jessie Young, his sons, Frank Jr., Michael, his daughter Shirley, his eight grandchildren, Robert, Michelle, Kevin, Patty, Petra, Megan, Melissa, Matthew and four great grandchildren, Erin, Samuel, Nero, Ariel, Frank will be missed by his brother, Don and many other family members. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Patricia, his sisters, Hortence, Adelaide, Mary and one brother Walter. Frank served his country during WW11, throughout the European Theatre as a Dispatch Rider and in 1951-1952 in the United Nations, He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion and served in various executive positions. He was involved as a co-founder in the Vernon Alcohol & Drug Treatment Center and a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for fifty years with continuous Sobriety. One of his passions was raising poultry with show chickens, his specialty and he was a member of the Vernon Pigeon & Poultry Club as well as a qualified American Poultry Association Judge. Frank enjoyed the great outdoors hunting, fishing, mining, photography and spending time with God and friends. A Celebration Of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 8th, 2005 from the Royal Canadian Legion Br # 25.
