We regret to announce the passing of Fred, April 20, 2007.
He is survived by his loving wife Vera of 44 years. Also surviving are his sister Mildred McCormick of Cranbrook and sisters-in-law Doreen White and Meg Crane. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was born in England and moved with his family to Waldo, B.C. when he was 5 years old. He worked for the Ministry of Forests as a ranger, chief fire observer and purchasing agent. He had many interests but music and the outdoors were his loves. He was predeceased by a special godchild Laurie Nanson in 2004.
Graveside service will be held 11 am, Saturday, April 28 at the Enderby Cliffview Cemetery, Enderby, BC. Reception 1-3 pm at the Schubert Centre, 3505 30th Ave., Vernon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 1212 W. Broadway, Vancouver, B.C. V6H 3V2.
