August 27, 1935 - November 28, 2019
G. Elizabeth (Betty) Geldart was born on August 27th, 1935 in Botha, Alberta to Clifford and Muriel Glasier. At age 84, she was promoted to Glory on November 28th, 2019 at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital after suffering from pneumonia and other medical complications.
Betty's darling husband J. Graham will miss her after 59 years of marriage. Her children are Elizabeth (Paul) Windmill, Christine (David) Senft and David (Carol) Geldart; and she leaves behind eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her brother, Jim Glasier and is survived by her sister, Joy (John) Scheltens; her sister-in-law, Jocelyn Glasier; many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Betty was a compassionate Registered Nurse and long time Gideon who loved to pass out Bibles. She enjoyed "loving on" people and encouraged many with her smile and kind words. Nature walks and countryside drives at sunset were her favourite. We rejoice that she has gone to be with her LORD.
The funeral date cancelled due to COVID19.
A Celebration of Betty's life will be held on the Easter weekend of 2020 after a bronze memorial plaque has been placed at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
