The family of Garnet Elmgren

saddness his passing August 7
2006 at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
Born in Herchel Saskatchewan April 6 .1925 Dad served in the Canadian Forces as an engineer in WW 11. He moved from Alb. To B.C. in 1964 where he became an active member of the Lions and Eagles Service Clubs. He also was on the board of directors for Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club. He was predeceased by Alfred(father), Francis(mother) John,Nathanial, and Arvid(brothers),Bernice Schmidt, Mabel Ferguson (sisters). Garnet is survived by his loving wife Gertrude Elmgren of 59 years, three daughters Angela(Richard), Maureen(Dave) all of Vernon, Patricia(Steve) of Kamloops, six grandchildren Jerrie-Lee(Randy) of Vernon, Tara-Jay(Boyd) of Kelowna, Johie(Alan) of Vernon, David of Vancouver, Jason(Marcie) and Steven from Kamloops. Also five great grandchildren Hanna, Emma, Kendall, Jordynne, and Dawson. One sister Francis Mitchell from Chilliwack and numerous nieces and nephews.
