Garry Ross Wirth passed away peacefully on January 25, 2018 surrounded by his beautiful family. Sunlight streamed through the window and there was serenity.
Garry loved his bride Judy for 48 years. He will be remembered by his dear children Debra (Richard) and Dean (Lisa), his beloved grandchildren Ava, Isabella, Kayla and Chase, his siblings Marj (Jack), Sharon (Jim), Vern (Carmen), Don (Mary), Vance (Pat), his extended family and his many friends.
Garry enjoyed camping, fishing and in his later years took great pleasure in playing golf with Judy. He had particularly fond memories of a favorite fishing trip to the Kitwanga River with Dean and Richard. Garry was always quick to laugh, whistling a jingle in the background or singing a tune with the wrong lyrics. He was larger than life.
The family would like to thank the ICU nurses, Dr. Yacyshyn, Dr. Vaz and Dr. Pienaar for their professionalism, compassion and respect. Garry's family will honor his wishes and forego any funeral or memorial service.
