George Richardson, passed away on March 16, 2019. Three months short of his 90th birthday. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy of nearly 65 years and survived by his two children, son Gareth with his wife Catherine and two daughters Amanda and Emily, as well as his daughter Sian with husband Scott and their two sons Dylan and Rhys. He is also survived by his sister Marlene and many nephews and grand nephews and nieces. George was a man of great honesty and integrity. He was a natural born leader and enjoyed many leadership roles in his lifetime. George came to Canada from Wales in 1957 with his wife Nancy. He was a rugby enthusiast as well as an avid golfer, skier and curler. He found peace working in his garden and taking long walks. George was a great storyteller and could captivate an entire room with tales from his youth. These stories would always end with a song and spoon playing.....he loved his singing and music. George, showed an amazing amount of love to his four grandchildren and will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
