August 13, 1930 – August 20, 2013

Dad passed away suddenly while hiking the Cowal Way in his beloved Scotland.

He was born in Revelstoke, BC but grew up a prairie boy in Prince Albert and Steep Creek, Saskatchewan, eventually returning to British Columbia to work for the Forest Service, as an electrician and an Industrial Education teacher.

Dad is survived by his children: Maureen (Rob), grandchildren Ceilidh and Tristan; Patricia (Alex), grandchildren Wendy and William, great grandchildren Anson, Carson and Spencer; David (Shirley) grandson Jamie. He is also survived by his brother Jack (Stephanie) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dad was predeceased by wives Kathleen Margaret Wismer in 1993 and Irma Flett McKenzie in 2009; sisters Norah, Nina and Margaret and grandson Noel.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, September 28th at 1:30 pm at Knox Presbyterian Church, 3701 32nd Avenue in Vernon.
