It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Georgina Joyce Hunt on February 6, 2018 in Vernon, BC.
Joyce was a family-woman, she loved her family dearly. She enjoyed spending time at Candle Lake, SK where she could be found at the water swimming and fishing. In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed painting, gardening and flowers were a passion of hers.
She is survived by her loving husband Lester Hunt, 3 children; Lester Hunt Jr, Kathy Hordos and Sandy Hunt, 6 grandchildren; Sharon Hordos, Amber Hordos, Krista Hunt, Jessy Hunt, David Hunt and Shanna Hunt, great-grandson Hayden Hunt, 3 sisters; Myrna Peterson, Mary Johnson and Peggy (David) Mills, brother; Danny (Marlene) Crowdis, sisters-in-law; Evelyn Fjied and Eileen Hunt, brother-in-law; Stanley (Linda) Hunt as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce is predeceased by her mother and father Betty and Bill Crowdis, brothers; Bill and David Crowdis, brothers-in-law; Vern Hunt and Floyd Hunt, sisters-in-law; Ilah Welch, Mirrel Sundbo and Elva Sundbo.
There will be a Memorial Service held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (1506 35th Street, Vernon, BC).
