November 24, 1926 - August 21, 2020
Gerry was born on November 24th, 1926 in St. Vincent, Alberta and passed away on August 21st, 2020 in the North Okanagan Hospice at the age of 93 years. She spent most of her life in B.C. and after retiring from Canfor she moved to Vernon where she remained until her death.
Gerry is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth (Ken) Millar of Whitehorse, Yukon and Margaret (Fred) Babb of Bonnyville, Alberta; numerous extended family members and many friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David; two brothers, Wilfred Ridsdale and Harold Ridsdale; and two sisters, Viola Erickson and Marie Plush.
In respecting Gerry's wishes, she was cremated and there will be no service held. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Gerry to the North Okanagan Hospice Society, 3506-27th Avenue, Vernon, B.C. V1T 1S4.
